Onboarding Friction with Prop Firms and Payout Times
Starting to look at more prop firms to diversify capital and I'm hitting some friction on the onboarding front with KYC/KYB. Seems like some firms are really streamlined, others are a bit clunky, and then you have the payout reliability concerns. For those actively trading with multiple firms, how much of a factor is the initial setup time and overall operational efficiency in your selection? Specifically, I'm curious about experiences with firms that have robust payout systems for consistent withdrawals and how much you weigh the difference in spreads/commissions against a smoother operational experience.
This is a great question. I'm just starting to look into prop firms myself and the KYC/KYB part sounds like it could be a real hurdle. I'm curious to hear how much that initial setup time impacts whether people stick with a firm or look elsewhere.
