Polymarket and the Perpetual KYC Loop

It's interesting watching Polymarket evolve, especially the continued push-pull between accessibility and regulatory compliance. They're clearly trying to thread a needle, but with new jurisdictions constantly popping up and the ever-shifting goalposts for KYC/AML on decentralized platforms, I have to wonder how sustainable their current approach is long-term. Are we heading for a future where every significant trade on these platforms triggers another round of identity verification, or will a more standardized, blockchain-native identity solution emerge that satisfies regulators without making the user experience completely insufferable?
