Polymarket: My mistake with the 'Will ETH hit $2k by X' market

Looking back at the 'Will ETH hit $2k by X' market earlier this year on Polymarket, I made a classic mistake. I had a decent chunk in the 'Yes' side, conviction based on a few technical factors I was tracking. When $ETH started consolidating just under $1900 with a few days left, my gut told me to scale back some of my 'Yes' position to lock in a small profit or reduce risk, but I got greedy. I let the FOMO of missing the final push to $2k override my risk management, convinced it was just a matter of hours. The market whipsawed, news flow went sideways, and by the deadline, it was clear I'd held on too long. Should have listened to that little voice.

It's a common trap, especially when you've seen some upward momentum. Hindsight is 20/20, but it sounds like you correctly identified the consolidation risk at the time. What did you learn about your own internal decision-making process from that experience?
