Ether's dance with 2k – my odds on a month-end close
Been watching $ETHUSD play coy with the $2000 mark. We're currently sitting around $1919, a decent bump today, but that 2k level seems to be a psychological brick wall. My gut feeling, backed by the recent range-bound chop and the general macro sentiment, is that we have about a 60% chance of seeing ETH close below $2000 by month-end. We've had a good run, but the momentum feels more like a grind than a breakout at this specific junction. Profit-taking resistance around that round number is likely to cap any serious upward attempts for now.
I'm not ruling out a quick wick above it, but a sustained close? Less probable. Unless we get some genuinely bullish macro news or a significant institutional inflow, I'd expect some consolidation or a slight pullback to build a base before a proper assault on the 2k barrier. Always a good laugh watching these psychological levels get treated like they're made of reinforced concrete.
