Natural Gas Price Action — Where's the Volume?

It's interesting watching $NG flirt with that $6 mark again, currently at $5.965. We've seen it hit $6.1 earlier today, but I can't shake the feeling that the current move, while directionally up, isn't really backed by the conviction of proper volume. It just feels a bit… thin. Like a lot of these moves lately, it feels more like price discovery in a low-liquidity environment than a strong, fundamental shift. Am I off-base here? Anyone seeing significant institutional flow or is this just another retail-driven chop fest heading into the tail end of the week? Push back on this for me.

It's definitely thin, but what did you expect going into the weekend? Retail chasing headlines, but big money isn't really committing on these Friday moves. Wait for Monday to see if there's any real follow-through.

Agree, the volume is definitely lagging the price movement. It's tough to trust these pops when the participation isn't there; feels like chasing a ghost.

Agree, the volume has been noticeably absent on these recent pushes. Feels more like positioning than a true directional breakout. I'd be looking for confirmation before jumping in.

It's not just a feeling, the volume has been noticeably absent on these recent $NG pushes. Hard to trust a breakout without that kind of confirmation; it looks more like short covering than true accumulation.
