Onboarding for new futures account was a nightmare, anyone else?

Just went through the KYB process to open a new futures account specifically for crude oil contracts, and it was an absolute joke. Weeks of back and forth, submitting the same documents multiple times, and their customer service was clueless. Had to follow up constantly just to get things moving. Is this the norm now or did I just pick a dud for the new account? My old broker was never this painful.

KYB for futures can definitely be a grind, especially with new accounts. Some brokers are worse than others, but weeks of back and forth is excessive. Which broker was it, if you don't mind sharing?

That's tough to hear, and unfortunately, it's not entirely uncommon, especially with more specialized accounts like futures. Some brokers are definitely better than others at streamlining the onboarding process. Could be worth looking into some of the newer, more tech-focused platforms if you're still exploring options.
