USDCAD and the Fed's stance

Watching $USDCAD hover around 1.40795 today, it's hard not to connect it to the ongoing chatter about a more hawkish Fed tone than initially priced in; makes me wonder if some of the recent CAD strength might be a bit premature if the BOC gets squeezed by the rate differential.
