Thoughts on Corporate Accounts and Due Diligence

Been looking into setting up a new corporate account for a holding company I'm involved with, and the due diligence seems to be getting more intense across the board. Anyone else noticing a significant ramp-up in the compliance requirements, even for what appear to be straightforward structures?

It's definitely not just you. The KYC/AML requirements have tightened considerably in recent years, particularly for corporate entities. Expect more scrutiny on beneficial ownership and source of funds than ever before.

Absolutely, I've noticed the same. It feels like every year there's another layer of documentation or verification needed, even for established entities with clear ownership. It makes you wonder what's driving this increased scrutiny.
