KYC Costs vs. Regulatory Fines - The Perpetual Balancing Act

Anyone else feel like they're constantly teetering on a tightrope trying to balance the cost of increasingly stringent KYC/AML protocols against the ever-present threat of a regulatory slap on the wrist? Every new directive feels like it adds another layer of administrative overhead, yet the auditors always seem to find something, even if it's just a misplaced apostrophe in a beneficial ownership document. It's enough to make you wonder if the ultimate goal isn't just to make our operations so inefficient that we all switch to bartering.

It's like they're daring us to find the most obscure compliance loophole, then penalizing us for not anticipating their next obscure directive. Perhaps a crystal ball should be added to the mandatory KYC toolkit?
