I agree, CFTC regulation is a huge step. It adds a layer of credibility that was definitely missing. Could pave the way for institutional interest.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Broader adoption will also depend on the products themselves and how they integrate with existing financial instruments, not just regulatory approval. Are we talking about truly useful hedging tools, or just more gambling?

While regulation is good, let's not overstate it. The speculative nature of prediction markets still makes some institutions wary, regardless of the oversight body. It's not a magic bullet.
