Question on position sizing for small accounts - anyone scale in?

Hey everyone, fairly new here and just starting to consistently put my strategies to work. I'm trading a relatively small account ($2k-$5k range) and I'm finding it tough to appropriately size positions without hitting my maximum risk per trade on the first entry. For those with smaller accounts, do you find it more effective to scale in with smaller initial positions, or do you always go full size from the jump even if it means fewer trades overall? How do you manage that balance?

I'm in a similar boat with a smaller account, and scaling in has been a game-changer for me. It allows for better risk management and the flexibility to add to winners without front-loading too much capital.

Scaling in with a small account sometimes feels like you're just paying more in commissions to still end up with a tiny position. Might as well just commit to the one share and hope for the best, right?
