First time posting, lesson learned on stop loss discipline

Hey everyone, just joined the forum. Been trading for about two years now, mostly focusing on forex pairs like $EURUSD and $GBPUSD. One of the biggest lessons I learned the hard way was on stop loss discipline. I had a trade on $AUDUSD that went south, and instead of taking the small loss, I kept widening my stop, hoping for a turnaround. It ended up being a significantly larger loss than it needed to be, and really hammered home the importance of sticking to your initial risk management plan.
