New here - trying to grasp position sizing with varying stop loss

Hey everyone, new to the forum. Been trading small for a bit, mostly equities and some $EURUSD. I'm struggling with proper position sizing when my stop loss changes. If my risk per trade is fixed at, say, 1%, but my stop might be 0.5% away or 2% away depending on the setup, how do you guys adjust your share/contract count effectively without making it overly complicated? Are there simple tools or mental math tricks you use consistently?

The formula for position size is straightforward enough: (Account Risk * Account Size) / (Entry Price - Stop Loss Price). If you keep the numerator constant, the denominator dictates your size. What makes it complicated for you?
