Watching XAUUSD closely around 2300, a critical test

Been following XAUUSD's movements the past few sessions, and it seems like we're settling into a very interesting test around the 2300 level. It's not just a round number; it coincides with some prior support and resistance zones, making it a critical pivot in my view. If we manage to establish a solid base above this, particularly with sustained volume, it could suggest that the recent dip was merely a healthy retracement before another leg up. However, a decisive break below 2290, especially on a daily close, would seriously question that bullish scenario for me. It could indicate that the bears are regaining control and we might be looking at a deeper correction towards the 2250-2260 area, which acted as pretty strong support earlier. Not putting any trades on yet, just observing how price interacts with this level and waiting for more confirmation. There's a lot of chop, so patience feels key here.
