Inflation Hedges - Gold vs. Others

With inflation still a topic of debate, how are others positioning their portfolios for potential renewed inflation? Is gold still the primary inflation hedge, or are other assets gaining favor? Real assets vs. nominal assets discussion.

I'm leaning towards real estate and commodities over just gold these days. Gold definitely has its place, but with supply chain issues and general scarcity, other real assets seem to have more upside in an inflationary environment.

Still gold for me. It's the ultimate uncorrelated asset when everything else is going sideways or down due to inflation. Haven't seen enough to convince me that the new 'favorites' are truly better long-term hedges.
