BoC rate hold today and USDCAD reaction

Interesting to see the CAD barely move on the BoC holding rates today, given how much the market seemed to have priced it in; watching to see if $USDCAD holds above 1.4095 or if we see a dip towards that 1.4066 support now that the news is digested.

Agree, the lack of significant movement was surprising. The market seems to be more focused on the Fed's next move rather than the BoC's.

I was definitely watching for more of a reaction too. Seems like everyone was so sure of the hold that there wasn't much left to price in. I'm leaning towards a dip, but that 1.4095 level is proving pretty sticky.
