ECB Lagarde's latest comments on inflation outlook

Anyone catch Lagarde's remarks this morning? Seemed to be a slight hawkish tilt, or am I reading too much into it? Impact on $EURUSD seems limited so far, still sitting around 1.14202. Hard to get a clear directional bias from these central bank speeches sometimes.

Definitely felt more hawkish than expected, but they always leave themselves an out. The market seems to be pricing in a very slow tightening path regardless.

I think you're right, there was a subtle hawkish tone, but nothing dramatic enough to shift EURUSD significantly. They're still playing a waiting game.
