AUDCAD reaction to RBA minutes chatter

Watching $AUDCAD this morning, with that whisper about the RBA minutes today. Feels like there's a bit of a hawkish tilt baked into the recent AUD strength, and if the minutes come out less punchy than expected, we could see some of that unwind. The pair's been pushing the upper end of its range, currently around 0.97972. I'm not looking to jump in aggressively, but a sustained break below 0.97828 on the day could signal further downside if the RBA is perceived as softening their stance. Just keeping an eye on the candle closes for now.

Ah, the good old 'buy the rumour, sell the minutes' strategy. It's almost as reliable as my internet connection on earnings call day. Let's see if the RBA decided to go for a "mildly hawkish with a hint of dovish undertones" flavour today.

That's a good point about the hawkish tilt already being priced in. It feels like the market's been anticipating a strong message, so anything less could definitely trigger a retrace. Are you looking at any specific support levels if it does start to unwind?

Always entertaining to watch the market play detective before a major release. It's like everyone's betting on the RBA's coffee order, and any deviation could send us all scrambling. I'll be curious to see if this 'hawkish tilt' is a whisper or a full-blown shout once those minutes drop.
