CAD looking interesting post-CPI, watching for BOC moves

That latest Canadian CPI print definitely got my attention. While the headline numbers weren't wildly out of line, the core inflation metrics are still showing some stickiness, which puts the Bank of Canada in a tricky spot. I'm keeping a close eye on the $CAD for any signs of a hawkish lean from Tiff Macklem in the coming weeks, especially against the backdrop of the $USD, where the Fed's stance seems a bit more settled. Not seeing any immediate plays at CAD 95.879, but the setup is intriguing.

I'm seeing similar dynamics. The sticky core CPI certainly complicates the BOC's path, and any hawkish tilt would likely be a significant CAD driver given the current market expectations. Are you mainly looking at CAD/USD or other crosses as well?
