Lagarde's comments yesterday about sustained inflation pressure, even with the recent slight dip in energy, have me thinking the ECB is staying firm for a bit longer. Doesn't directly impact $CADUSD but creates a broader risk-off sentiment that could strengthen the dollar against other majors, pulling CAD along for the ride. Watching 0.7167 support on $CADUSD; a clean break lower might signal more downside and open up positions there, especially if broader USD strength continues. Just a thought.
