Onboarding Friction for Mid-Sized Institutions with PSPs

Curious if others in the 'Fintech Founders' room are experiencing similar issues with PSPs, especially when dealing with onboarding for mid-sized institutional clients. We're not talking massive banks, but firms with complex legal structures, multiple UBOs, and varying regulatory footprints across different jurisdictions. The KYC/KYB process often feels like it's designed for either individuals or tier-one banks, leaving a huge gap for everything in between.

The documentation requests can be exhaustive and often redundant, leading to significant delays in activation. This isn't just a headache for us internally, but it's directly impacting our client acquisition velocity. We've tried a few different providers, and while some are better than others, it feels like a systemic issue. Are there specific features or workflows you've found to be particularly effective in streamlining this, or is it just the cost of doing business in this space right now?

Definitely. We've seen PSPs struggle with complex trust structures and international subsidiaries, even for what we consider medium-sized clients. It feels like a one-size-fits-all approach is still common.

Definitely seeing this as well. It feels like many PSPs struggle with anything beyond a standard corporate structure, leading to endless back-and-forth on documentation and often requiring manual intervention. Have you found any PSPs that handle this niche better?
