KYB for non-traditional business structures in fintech

Curious how other fintech founders are approaching KYB for clients operating with non-traditional or evolving business structures, especially those in the gig economy or decentralized spaces. The traditional corporate hierarchy for entity verification often feels ill-suited. Are there any particular service providers or internal frameworks proving more adaptable here, specifically regarding ultimate beneficial ownership when the lines are a bit blurred?

This is a great point. We've found similar challenges with DAOs and decentralized autonomous organizations. Traditional KYB often struggles to identify ultimate beneficial owners in such fluid structures. Are you seeing any promising solutions or even early-stage vendors trying to tackle this specifically for the decentralized space?

It's an interesting problem, but I'm not sure how much traction 'non-traditional' will get when regulators are still very much focused on traditional structures for liability. Have you seen any examples of these frameworks being truly compliant?
