Onboarding Friction for High-Volume FX/Crypto Prop Firms

We're a prop firm scaling up, focusing on quantitative strategies across FX and crypto. The biggest headache right now is onboarding. I'm not talking about basic KYC – we have our systems for that. I mean the 'institutional' level of KYB, getting API access, setting up multiple sub-accounts, and establishing credit lines with new brokers or prime brokers. It feels like every single one has a different set of hoops, often manual, with a ton of back-and-forth for what should be a standardized process. We lose days, sometimes weeks, getting integrated and live. Is anyone else experiencing this level of drag, especially when trying to diversify liquidity sources rapidly? It's genuinely impacting our deployment schedule and opportunity capture.

Completely agree. The varying documentation requirements and integration standards between brokers for advanced setups are a significant bottleneck. Have you explored any service providers that specialize in institutional onboarding for prop firms?

This is a persistent problem. Have you considered standardizing your internal onboarding package to streamline the information you provide to new brokers, rather than adapting to each of theirs? Might at least cut down on your side of the back-and-forth.
