ECB's Hawk Talk and its ripple on Eurozone equities

Watching the ECB's recent hawkish lean closely, especially with the talk around rates staying higher for longer. It feels like this is slowly but surely going to start impacting the more rate-sensitive sectors here in Europe. I'm keeping an eye on the bigger tech names, $ASML for instance at 1740.99, to see if growth gets priced in differently if the cost of capital remains elevated.

Also looking at how this might translate into broader market sentiment for Eurozone indices. My watchlist for the DAX and FTSE is more about identifying potential rotational plays rather than broad-market direction right now. It's not a clear-cut bearish signal for everything, but definitely a reason to be selective.

Rates staying higher for longer is definitely going to cool growth. I'm more concerned about the smaller cap European tech that relies heavily on cheap financing, not just the big players like ASML. They'll feel the squeeze much faster.

It's an interesting point about the rate-sensitive sectors. While ASML is a strong company, a prolonged higher-for-longer scenario could certainly temper some of the enthusiasm, especially if future earnings are discounted more aggressively. Have you looked at how smaller, less established growth companies are reacting?

I agree, the longer rates stay elevated, the more pressure that puts on valuations for high-growth tech, especially those reliant on future earnings. How long do you think this hawkish stance will last before we see any softening?
