Thoughts on EM and Yen Weakness

Watching the $NIKKEI push past 69,800 today has me thinking about the potential spillover into broader EM. With the yen still relatively weak, it's hard not to wonder if we're seeing capital flow out of Japan and into other higher-growth areas in Asia. I'm curious if anyone is seeing this reflected in their EM currency watchlists, especially given the current rate environment in developed markets.

It's interesting you bring that up about the Yen weakness. I've been watching the NIKKEI, too, but hadn't connected it directly to broader EM capital flows yet. Are you seeing any specific EM currencies that stand out as beneficiaries of this potential shift?

Definitely seeing that capital flight pressure with the yen. The hunt for yield is real, and with the BOJ's stance, it's making other Asian markets look more attractive to investors.
