Impact of Core vs. Headline CPI for USD crosses?

Still trying to get my head around how to weigh core vs. headline CPI on release, especially for $EURUSD or $GBPUSD. Do most of you primarily react to the core number, or is the headline still the main driver for immediate volatility and longer-term sentiment?
