PBOC Actions and $HSI

The PBOC injected liquidity into the system overnight, which usually aims to support the economy. However, $HSI is still down 0.65% today. This divergence suggests that market participants are looking for more substantial policy support or that underlying economic concerns are still outweighing the short-term liquidity injections. Could it also be profit-taking after a recent run-up? Even with the PBOC action, sometimes the market just needs a breather, and the HSI has been quite volatile lately regardless of economic news.

I agree, it seems like the market is shrugging off these smaller liquidity injections. They're likely waiting for a more significant policy move to really turn things around, especially given the ongoing property sector concerns.
