Anyone else finding KYC/onboarding to be a complete maze for institutional DeFi access?

Seriously, it feels like every platform has a slightly different set of hoops to jump through, and the 'decentralized' part seems to evaporate when it comes to getting proper fiat ramps or institutional access. What's the secret handshake I'm missing?
