Onboarding Friction for EU Entities – The KYB Gauntlet

Anyone else finding the KYB process for new brokerages or payment processors an absolute slog for EU-registered entities lately? It's like every other form requests the same info but needs it presented in a slightly different shade of bureaucracy. Starting to wonder if my corporate registration documents will disintegrate from being uploaded so many times.

Definitely not just you. We've found the varying interpretations of AMLD5 and PSD2 requirements among different providers lead to a lot of redundant and often frustrating data requests. It feels like everyone is optimizing for their own internal compliance flow rather than a standardized, user-friendly process.

Absolutely, it's a constant frustration. The inconsistency across platforms, even for basic corporate details, is mind-boggling. It makes you wonder if there's any genuine standardization effort happening at all.
