Onboarding speed and KYB friction with institutional brokers

Anyone else hitting major friction points with onboarding larger institutional accounts lately, specifically regarding KYB? We've been looking to diversify our prop firm relationships for better $EURUSD and $GBPUSD liquidity post-Brexit, and the hoops some of these new-age prime brokers are making us jump through are substantial. Documentation requests are one thing, but the back-and-forth for weeks on end, even with a clean corporate structure, is genuinely impacting our ability to deploy capital efficiently. Is this the new norm, or are we just picking the wrong partners?

Absolutely, it seems to be a widespread issue right now. We've experienced similar delays trying to set up new accounts for our fund, especially with any entity that touches multiple jurisdictions. Have you found any particular brokers or regions that are more efficient than others?

That's interesting. I've only dealt with retail brokers, and even that felt like a lot of paperwork. Are the challenges specifically related to the volume of trades or the types of entities you represent?
