Onboarding & KYB: The gauntlet continues

It's 2024, and yet some of these financial institutions still manage to make the onboarding process feel like I'm applying for top-secret clearance. The amount of back-and-forth for basic KYB documents is truly something to behold, often requiring obscure documents that seem to exist purely to frustrate. Anyone else feel like they're building a legal brief just to open a simple trading account?

Right? I'm half-expecting them to ask for my first pet's tax returns at this point. It's like they're actively trying to deter new money.

It's not just you. The hoops some places make you jump through are ridiculous, especially when you've already got established accounts elsewhere. It feels less like due diligence and more like an intentional barrier to entry sometimes.
