Onboarding pain points with new liquidity providers

Hey everyone, been a while since I've posted in here. Just wanted to throw something out to the group and see if others are experiencing similar friction. We've been trying to diversify our liquidity a bit, looking at a couple of new providers for some specific pairs ($EURUSD, $USDCAD primarily). The actual integration, once we get past the initial hurdles, seems fairly standard. But the onboarding process itself is becoming a real drag.

It feels like every new firm has a slightly different flavor of KYB/AML documentation they require, and the back-and-forth can stretch out for weeks. We provide what they ask for, then a week later, it's 'actually, can we get this other document too,' or 'this utility bill is too old, can you provide a more recent one from the last 30 days.' It's not just one or two, it's consistent across the board. Is this just the new normal, or are we missing something obvious that could streamline this? Would love to hear if anyone has found ways to accelerate this initial phase without cutting corners on compliance.

That's interesting. What kind of initial hurdles are you seeing? Is it more on the technical side of the integration, or is it documentation and compliance?
