Fintech Partnerships: Open Banking API Integration

Our platform is looking to integrate with additional open banking APIs to enhance data aggregation and payment initiation services for SMEs. We're interested in partnerships with banks or fintechs that have mature, well-documented APIs and are open to collaborative development. Focus on EU/UK initially, but open to other regions. What are your experiences with specific providers?

While those are good options, I'd also consider some of the newer challengers. Sometimes their APIs are more developer-friendly from the get-go, even if their market share isn't as large yet. Worth exploring.

For EU/UK, have you looked into TrueLayer or Plaid? They've got pretty robust APIs and good documentation. We've had a decent experience with TrueLayer for data aggregation specifically.

Collaborative development sounds good, but what's your take on their security protocols? That's always my biggest concern with any third-party integration, especially for payments.

Are you only looking at pure API providers, or would you consider a platform that offers a more integrated suite? Sometimes an all-in-one can save a lot of headaches down the line, even if it means less granular control.
