Scaling out of crypto positions during volatility?
Hey everyone, fairly new to actively managing my crypto portfolio beyond just HODLing. I've been experimenting with taking partial profits on moves, especially in this recent BTC run, but I'm finding it tricky to decide when to scale out a portion. My gut often tells me to take some off too early, missing further upside, or I hold too long and give back gains. For those more experienced, how do you manage scaling out of a position, say on $BTC or $ETH, when things are volatile but still trending up? Are there specific technical levels you watch, or is it more about a predefined percentage of your holding you trim off at certain milestones?

This is exactly what I've been struggling with too! Do you find it's better to set price targets beforehand, or do you make the decision more on feel once the volatility hits?
