KYC/AML for cross-border P2P crypto platforms

Curious how firms are practically navigating KYC/AML requirements for purely P2P crypto platforms, especially with users transacting across multiple jurisdictions and fiat on/off-ramps being handled externally. The jurisdictional nexus for reporting suspicious activity seems like a persistent headache.

It's an ongoing challenge, definitely. Many seem to push the burden back onto the individual P2P traders or rely on external exchange partners for their KYC/AML, which just shifts the problem rather than solving it.

That's a really complex area. I imagine it's less about the platform directly handling those on/off-ramps and more about ensuring the P2P transactions themselves aren't being used for illicit activities, which is a massive data challenge given the distributed nature.
