On the 'safe haven' status of gold vs. evolving market dynamics
It feels like the conventional wisdom around gold's bulletproof safe haven status is due for a serious re-evaluation in this environment, especially with how often other assets are being positioned as inflation hedges or store-of-value plays. Is its role truly as immutable as many still believe, or are we seeing a subtle but significant shift? Change my mind.

The "immutable" part is certainly debatable. Gold's performance during some recent inflation spikes wasn't exactly stellar. It seems more like one tool in a diversified portfolio, rather than the singular safe haven it's often made out to be.
