On Gold and the $SPCX disconnect
Anyone else thinking the current gold strength feels more like a flight to safety given the $SPCX dropping to 115.07, rather than actual fundamental commodity demand? I can't shake the feeling it's a bit overhyped as a standalone inflation hedge right now. Change my mind.

It's hard to argue against the safety play given the broader market's recent movements. While gold often gets touted as an inflation hedge, its current trajectory does seem more correlated with risk aversion than a direct response to inflation data.
