Onboarding Friction with Smaller Prop Firms for Commodities

Anyone else finding KYC/onboarding a real grind lately, especially with some of the newer, smaller prop firms? I've been looking to diversify my funding sources for a specific strategy involving agricultural commodities — less liquid markets, higher capital requirements. The usual suspects have their robust, albeit slow, processes. But some of these newer entities, while offering attractive payout structures or more flexible leverage, have incredibly clunky onboarding. Multiple requests for the same documents, slow response times on queries, and sometimes conflicting information from different reps. It's frustrating when you're ready to deploy capital and get stuck in administrative purgatory. What's been your experience with these smaller, maybe less established, players in terms of getting set up for trading commodities? Is it just part of the game or am I missing some trick to streamline it?
