Anyone else finding KYC/onboarding to be a major hurdle with prop firms lately?

Been looking into a few new prop firms recently, trying to diversify a bit, but the onboarding process has been surprisingly clunky. Seems like every other firm is asking for a different set of documents, or their identity verification just fails repeatedly. It's frustrating when you're ready to get started and the first barrier is just getting your account approved. Wondering if this is just my experience, or if others are seeing this friction increase too? Any tips for streamlining the KYB process with these firms would be greatly appreciated.

I've definitely noticed the same, especially with some of the newer or smaller firms. It feels like they're still figuring out their KYC processes, which can be a real drag when you just want to get to the trading.

I've noticed a similar trend. Some of it might be increased regulatory scrutiny, but it also feels like some firms just haven't optimized their processes. Have you tried reaching out to their support teams directly when you hit a snag, or is it more of a systemic issue across multiple firms?
