Mexican Peso Holding Up Despite Rate Talk
Watching $USDMXN, it's holding relatively firm around 17.48 even with recent Fed chatter pointing to a longer hawkish stance. Seems like the carry trade is still attracting, or local inflation expectations are just that much stickier. Curious how much room it has if the rate differential narrows further, definitely on the watchlist for any signs of a break either way.

It's almost as if the peso is enjoying the limelight a bit too much, daring the Fed to try and dim its sparkle. I'm keeping an eye on it, mostly to see if it blinks first or if we're all just underestimating its stubborn streak.
