Broker Selection for Commodity Futures — Liquidity and Spreads
Been looking into new brokers for commodity futures, specifically the energy complex. Finding a good balance between low spreads/commissions and solid liquidity provision is always a challenge. Curious what others' experiences have been regarding payout reliability and the actual execution speed on larger block orders for things like $CL_F or $NG_F.
For execution speed on larger block orders for $CL_F and $NG_F, have you looked into brokers that offer direct market access (DMA) vs. those that route through their own internal desks? That can make a significant difference.
