Thoughts on broker selection for micro-cap commodity futures

Anyone else finding the liquidity and effective spreads for smaller-cap commodity futures to be highly variable across brokers, or is it just my current prop firm's routing? Specifically, interested in whether others have seen significant payout reliability differences when trading these less active contracts.

I've definitely noticed that, particularly with the payout reliability. Some brokers seem to have better access to deep liquidity pools for those specific contracts, which translates to more consistent execution and less slippage when closing positions. Have you tried looking into brokers specializing in a particular commodity sector?

I've definitely noticed variability in micro-cap futures liquidity, but more related to the underlying exchange and time of day rather than broker differences directly impacting effective spreads. Are you finding specific brokers offer better fills on these products?

I've definitely noticed inconsistent fills on micro-cap futures, but it's hard to tell if it's the broker's routing or just the inherent illiquidity. Have you tried comparing execution reports from different accounts on the same contract at similar times?
