Scalping $NZDJPY vs longer swings

Been looking at $NZDJPY today, currently sitting around 92.262. For CFD traders, I've always felt like the tighter spreads and quick moves make it ideal for scalping. But lately, I'm finding more success holding for larger swings, maybe targeting the highs around 92.465 from earlier or even yesterday's range. It feels like chasing pennies on scalps when the higher timeframes are offering clearer direction. Am I missing something with the quick-hit method, or is the swing approach just more suited for current conditions? Push back if you think I'm wrong.
