$EURCAD potential for 1.6150 by end of week

Looking at $EURCAD, the current level of 1.6076 feels like a consolidation point before a potential push higher. We've seen resistance around 1.60908 today, but the daily low of 1.60633 held quite well. The overall sentiment for EUR has been subtly shifting, and with CAD's recent softness against other majors, a confluence might be brewing.

I'd put the odds of seeing 1.6150 hit by Friday's close at around 60%. My reasoning is largely technical: the price action suggests accumulation below the prior resistance, and a break above that 1.6090 level could trigger short covering. Fundamentally, while not a strong driver, any continued minor softening in oil prices could indirectly weigh on CAD, providing a tailwind. This isn't a high-conviction forecast, but the setup offers a decent risk-reward for anticipating a modest upward move.

I agree, the consolidation around 1.6076 is interesting. Are you seeing any specific news or economic indicators from the Eurozone or Canada that could act as a catalyst for that push towards 1.6150?
