Onboarding delays and KYC bottlenecks with new prime brokers

Experiencing significant delays recently when trying to onboard with a couple of new prime brokers for increased $FX liquidity. The KYC process is dragging on for weeks, much longer than anticipated, despite having all corporate documentation in order. Wondering if others are seeing this slowdown across the board, or if it's specific to certain regions/firms. It's impacting our ability to diversify order flow.

We've seen similar issues, particularly with smaller firms or those entering new markets. It often comes down to their internal compliance resources being stretched thin, rather than an issue with your documentation specifically. Have you tried following up directly with their compliance team?

We've definitely seen some increased friction in KYC processes over the last 18 months, though weeks for fully prepared corporate documentation seems a bit excessive. Are you finding it's the initial review or the follow-up questions that are causing the most delays?

We've definitely seen a similar trend, especially with some of the larger institutions. It feels like the compliance departments are just overwhelmed, or perhaps they've tightened up their internal processes even further recently. Are you finding it's worse with new relationships, or even with existing brokers when adding new entities?
