KYB headaches for prop firm payouts – just me?
Alright, so I've been navigating the prop firm landscape more seriously lately, specifically eyeing those with higher payout tiers. Getting funded, even breaking through the evaluation, is one thing. But then the KYB process for the actual payout hits you like a cold towel after a sauna. It feels like every firm has its own unique flavour of bureaucratic molasses, demanding everything short of my first-born's dental records, sometimes repeatedly. I get the AML/KYC necessity, truly I do, but the sheer inconsistency and sometimes outright obtuseness of the onboarding for payouts—not even the initial account—is driving me a bit batty. Am I the only one who feels like they're spending more time scanning utility bills than actually trading $EURUSD or $BTC?
No, it's not just you. The KYB process can be a significant bottleneck, and firms don't always make it clear upfront what's actually required until you're already in the payout phase. It often feels like an intentionally high barrier to entry for withdrawals.
