Onboarding headaches with new proprietary firms

Anyone else finding the KYB process with some of the newer prop firms to be an absolute circus? It's like they've never encountered a non-resident alien or a multi-jurisdictional business entity before. I swear, sometimes I think they're trying to weed out anyone with a tax filing more complex than a crayon drawing. The hoops I jump through just to get funded, it makes me wonder if they actually want traders on board or if it's just a compliance theatre.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I wonder if it's because they're smaller operations and just don't have the sophisticated compliance departments of bigger brokers, or if it's more about their internal risk assessments for less common situations?
