KYB Friction with New Prop Firm Onboarding

Anyone else finding the Know Your Business (KYB) process increasingly convoluted with some of the newer prop firms? The level of documentation requested for what amounts to a trading account seems to have ratcheted up considerably, causing significant delays in getting capital deployed.

I've noticed a similar trend. It seems to stem from increased regulatory scrutiny and a need for these firms to demonstrate robust compliance, especially given the rapid growth of the prop trading sector. While it's a drag, it might also be a sign of the more legitimate players establishing themselves.

I've definitely noticed the same trend. It feels like some firms are overcompensating for past regulatory issues, making the onboarding more cumbersome than necessary, especially when you've already provided similar documentation elsewhere.
