Prop Firm Payout Friction - A Common Theme?
Been with a few prop firms now, focusing on their payout processes. It seems like the stated 'instant' or '24-hour' withdrawal often stretches into multiple business days, particularly for larger sums. It's not necessarily a deal-breaker if they're consistent, but the variance between firms is noticeable. Wondering if others have encountered similar experiences where the marketing promises on payout speed don't quite align with the operational reality, especially when moving substantial capital. This isn't about specific firms, more about the general infrastructure within the prop trading space.
I've definitely seen this, particularly with newer or smaller firms. It's often less about malicious intent and more about their operational capacity and cash flow management for larger payouts. Do you find the friction is mostly in the processing time, or sometimes even in the approval for withdrawal itself?
