Anyone else finding KYC/KYB on new prop firms a bit inconsistent lately?
Been looking into a few newer prop firms for diversifying some capital, specifically those with a good range on $EURUSD and some crypto CFDs. What I'm noticing is a pretty wide variance in the KYC/KYB process. Some are seamless, basically upload a few docs and you're good to go in a day. Others seem to be stuck in a never-ending loop of 'additional verification needed' for minor things, or taking upwards of a week to review standard documents. It's not a deal-breaker, but it definitely impacts the speed of getting set up and capital deployed. Anyone else seeing this, or have any theories on why some firms seem to have it so dialed in while others struggle with basic onboarding?
I've noticed this too, especially with the newer firms trying to differentiate themselves. It seems like some are still refining their compliance workflows, leading to those frustrating delays. Have you found any particular regions or firm types that are more consistent?
